We know that the best days of Bethel are ahead of us and we would count it a blessing to have the fellowship of more friends along the way. While Bethel Celebrates a rich history of 230 plus years as a Southern Baptist Congregation in this community, we are not a church too steeped in tradition to meet the needs of a twenty first Century Church. Our Worship is vibrant and meaningful..our ministry to others reaches from our community right here in Sumter to all over the globe...our Bible study offers deep and abiding joy as we discover God's message to us in Scripture. We are willing to go where the Lord sends us and nothing would make us happier than for many more to join in the journey. We follow One Lord, Jesus Christ, share one faith in Christ as our Lord and Savior, and celebrate one birth as baptized believers of Jesus.
